Travel Day One

Our first stop was in Fancy Gap Virginia at the pottery &fabric outlet. What fun. 17 yards of fabric later we were off again.

Our next stop was in Lynchburg Virginia at Quilted Expressions....they have a wonderful quilt shop with over 4,000 bolts of fabric and tons of sample quilts hanging.

See all of the beautiful samples hanging.

Whisker's must have hidden in the suitcase.".there were holes ripped in the quilt, so cute.

Yes I got the Mary Kay Mouton book.

Next we headed for our hotel for the night, but at a pit stop I noticed this little fellow. Isn't he precious.

Our hotel for the night is The Village Inn in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It is nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. Beautiful scenery around every turn. It's dark now so I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Our plan tomorrow morning is to visit the Virginia Quilt Museum.
Happy Quilting,
Shelia
